Dear IAE customer,

IAE registered its Beijing Representative Office in 1985 for the purpose of introducing state of the art technology to the petroleum and scientific industries. This culminated ten previous years of similar activity by the president and founder Dave Howe. In addition to cooperating with the Chinese petroleum industry in the development of indigenous high tech equipment, IAE introduced the Chinese manufacturing and service companies to the international market place. In the 1980,s IAE used our good offices in Russia and India to sell Chinese manufactured seismic equipment. IAE also obtained the first contract for Chinese seismic crews to provide services outside of China. In 1997 IAE opened offices in West Africa for the specific purpose of securing contracts with Foreign Oil Exploration Companies for Chinese service crews. IAE succeeded in securing seismic and drilling service contracts for the Chinese crews. In addition to the drilling contracts consummated in West Africa, IAE was instrumental in obtaining contracts for eight Chinese drilling rigs and crews in South America.

Due to unfortunate legal problems with former IAE staff in our Beijing office, all Chinese business operations are presently being conducted through IAE’s Corporate Office in Houston, Texas. IAE continues to maintain an active presence in the international petroleum business by supplying state of the art equipment and petroleum services.

IAE presently has many opportunities to provide seismic and drilling services in the Mid East and Africa. Which we are unable to supply due to the scarcity and high prices of equipment such as drilling rigs. IAE has colleagues in both the governments and state owned oil companies operating in the Mid East and Africa who are considering founding indigenous service companies to which IAE would be the technical partner to source equipment and personnel.
